Christmas spice cake


Makes: 18 servings

INGREDIENTS
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups of flour (9oz)
1 ½ cups of sugar (4.5oz)
1 cup buttermilk (250cc.)
½ cup of butter or margarine (softened)
1 teaspoon of vainila
3 eggs

PREPARATION
In a bowl, sift together the nutmeg, the ginger, the nutmeg, the cinamon, the baking powder, the baking soda, the flour and the sugar.

Add buttermilk, the butter or margarine and the vainila.

Beat with an electric mixer on low to medium speed till combined.
Beat two minutes on high speed.

Add the two eggs and beat 3 minutos more.

Pour batter into a greased and floured 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
Bake in a 350º oven for 30 minutes or till a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

Cool on a wire rack.
