2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Whip the eggs with an electric mixer for 15 minutes.
Add the vanilla and fold in the sifted flour and baking powder.
Pour the batter into a well greased and floured round tin of 24 cm.
Bake in a moderate oven for approx. 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven.
Cool in the tin for a few minutes before turning out to cool completely on a wire rack.
